01// MISSION

What is CosmodromEdu

Space education should not be limited to engineering alone. The future space sector needs people who understand science, communication, design, policy, entrepreneurship, sustainability and international cooperation.

CosmodromEdu is a European space education initiative focused on developing interdisciplinary learning programmes for students, educators and young professionals. We design and support summer schools, workshops, curricula and training activities that connect learners with the rapidly evolving space ecosystem.

Our work sits at the intersection of space disciplines, education, creativity, and innovation, helping learners to understand the sector, to discover new career paths, and to develop the skills needed for the future of the space sector.

While space remains our core inspiration, our programmes also reach into the broader future: science, technology, innovation, sustainability, and the soft skills required to navigate them all.

Why Europe needs new space education pathways.

The European space sector is expanding into climate monitoring, agriculture, mobility, telecommunications, defence, disaster management, urban planning and digital innovation. Future space professionals will need more than traditional technical knowledge — they will need to understand complex systems, work across disciplines, communicate clearly, and connect scientific knowledge with real-world applications. Projects like ASTRAIOS are already mapping what comes next. CosmodromEdu follows the development closely.

05// WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

Not a news portal. Not a single discipline. An educational guide throughout the space sector.

European by design

We work alongside European projects, universities and aerospace networks to anchor every programme in the real needs of the EU space ecosystem.

Interdisciplinary on purpose

Science, technology, design, policy, entrepreneurship and storytelling are woven together because the new space economy refuses to live inside a single department.

Practical, not abstract

Workshops, summer schools and field experiences are designed for students, educators and young professionals who want to step into the space sector.
